Who it fits

Key specs for VOWNER 87 armoire

Overall Dimensions: 63.1"W x 18.8"D x 87"H

This footprint fits narrow rooms while offering substantial vertical storage. The 87-inch height allows you to store tall items without stacking them on the floor. The 18.8-inch depth is standard for hanging clothes on standard hangers. You should measure your wall space to ensure the width clears doorways and furniture. This size suits apartments where floor space is limited but volume is needed.

Material: engineered wood

Engineered wood provides a stable surface that resists warping better than solid wood in varying humidity. It offers a smooth finish suitable for painting or staining if you want a custom look. This material is generally lighter than solid timber, making the 291-pound unit manageable for moving. You get a durable structure for daily use without the high cost or weight of premium hardwoods.

Built-in interior mirror

The mirror is located inside the armoire, saving you the floor space required for a standalone vanity mirror. You can check your outfit without leaving the closet area. This feature is essential for small bedrooms where every square foot counts. It keeps your sightlines clear and reduces clutter. You benefit from a streamlined aesthetic while maintaining a functional dressing routine right at your wardrobe.

Hanging Rod: 2 rods

Two hanging rods allow you to separate different types of clothing, such as long dresses from shorter shirts. This double-rail setup effectively doubles your hanging capacity within the same vertical space. You can organize by season or garment type for easier access. This configuration is ideal for maximizing storage in a single unit. You avoid the need for additional freestanding racks or bulky shelving units elsewhere in the room.

Number of Drawers: 3

Three drawers provide enclosed storage for folded items like underwear, socks, or knitwear. This keeps small accessories organized and dust-free. You benefit from easy access to frequently used items without opening the main doors. The drawers complement the hanging space for a complete storage solution. This count is practical for families needing dedicated spots for layered clothing and accessories.

Design and Build Overview

According to the listing, the VOWNER 87 is constructed from engineered wood. This material choice suggests a balance between cost and structural integrity for a tall unit. The finish is white, which helps the piece blend into various bedroom decors without dominating the visual space. The overall dimensions are 63.1 inches in width, 18.8 inches in depth, and 87 inches in height. This footprint is designed to fit narrow rooms while offering substantial vertical storage. The 18.8-inch depth is standard for hanging clothes, ensuring garments do not wrinkle unnecessarily.

The unit weighs 291 pounds. This significant mass indicates a sturdy build that can support the weight of three drawers, two hanging rods, and upper cabinets without excessive wobbling. The listing notes sturdy hardware and adjustable hinges, which contribute to long-term durability. An anti-tip kit is included, a critical safety feature for a wardrobe of this height, especially in homes with children or pets. The design prioritizes stability over portability, making it suitable for permanent placement in apartments or rental homes.

Layout-wise, the combination of upper cabinets, shelves, and drawers creates a multi-zone storage system. The engineered wood construction supports this complex internal organization. The white finish conceals minor scuffs better than high-gloss options, maintaining a clean look over time. This build quality targets users who need a single, comprehensive storage solution rather than modular components.

Setup and everyday use guide

The VOWNER 87 arrives as a substantial unit weighing 291 pounds. You will need to assemble the engineered wood panels, hardware, and hinges. The listing notes an anti-tip kit is included. You must secure this kit to the wall for safety, especially given the 87-inch height. This step is critical for stability in everyday family use.

Once assembled, the 63.1-inch width and 18.8-inch depth define your storage layout. The unit offers two hanging rods. You can organize shirts, dresses, or jackets vertically. The three drawers provide separate compartments for smaller items like socks or underwear. The upper cabinets and shelves hold bulkier items. You can store blankets, suitcases, or off-season clothing in the top section. This keeps floor space clear.

The built-in interior mirror is a key feature for daily routines. You can check your outfit without moving a separate standing mirror. This saves valuable floor space in apartments or rental homes. The white finish blends easily into various bedroom decors. You can place bags, bedding, and accessories on the shelves or in the drawers. The adjustable hinges allow you to align the doors precisely. This ensures smooth opening and closing over time. The design supports flexible storage for those without built-in closets. You maintain organized essentials while maximizing vertical space. The sturdy hardware supports regular use. You benefit from a single unit that combines hanging, drawer, and cabinet storage. This simplifies your bedroom setup and daily dressing routine.

Before You Buy This Armoire

This VOWNER 87 armoire suits renters or those in apartments lacking built-in closets. Its white engineered wood finish blends easily, but you must verify your wall type before installing the anti-tip kit. The unit weighs 291 pounds, so ensure your floor can support this load without sagging, especially on upper levels.

You will need to check that your ceiling height exceeds 87 inches to allow for proper clearance and airflow. The 18.8-inch depth fits standard hangers, but verify your coat types hang freely without wrinkling. The built-in mirror saves floor space, yet you may still want a separate stool if you prefer sitting while dressing.

Compared to other options in Wardrobes & Closet Systems, this tall armoire maximizes vertical storage. It keeps seasonal items in top cabinets while keeping daily essentials accessible in drawers and hanging rods. This design helps you maintain an organized bedroom without cluttering the floor.

Check before you buy

• Confirm wall type for anti-tip kit installation.
