Who it fits
Good fit for
This armoire suits buyers who need substantial hanging and folded storage in a single unit. The 71-inch height makes it ideal for taller ceilings or users who want maximum vertical capacity. The three drawers and three open shelves help those who prefer a mix of concealed and accessible storage. The included large mirror adds functionality for bedrooms where space is at a premium. If you need a versatile piece that works in a living room, office, or laundry room, this engineered wood wardrobe offers a practical solution for daily essentials.
Who should skip it
You should look at another option if you require a narrower footprint. The 47.3-inch width and 18.9-inch depth take up more floor space than compact cabinets. If you prefer solid wood construction, this engineered wood model may not meet your durability expectations. Buyers who need more than three drawers for extensive clothing organization might find the capacity limited. Additionally, if you want a unit without a mirror, you must check if other variations remove it, as this specific model includes one as a standard feature.
Verdict: The VOWNER 71" Armoire is a solid, tall storage solution for those who need a mirror and mixed shelving. Its engineered wood build and included anti-tip device make it a safe, practical choice for most bedrooms.
Key specs explained for this armoire
Overall Dimensions: 71" x 47.3" x 18.9"
This tall unit stands 71 inches high, which maximizes vertical storage without requiring excessive floor space. The 47.3-inch width fits standard bedroom layouts, while the 18.9-inch depth keeps it from protruding too far into the room. You should measure your available wall area carefully. This footprint suits smaller rooms where space efficiency matters, compared to deeper, bulkier wardrobes that dominate a floor plan.
Material: engineered wood
The cabinet is built from engineered wood, a manufactured panel material known for stability and consistent texture. This construction choice typically results in a lighter unit that is easier to move than solid hardwood pieces. You get a smooth surface that takes paint or finish well. It offers a practical balance of durability and cost for everyday storage needs in a bedroom or office setting.
Shelves: 3 open shelves
You get three open shelves for accessible storage of bags, hats, or folded items. Open shelving allows you to see your belongings at a glance, reducing time spent searching. This setup is ideal for frequently used items you want within arm's reach. Compare this to fully enclosed cabinets where visibility is limited. The open design adds a decorative element to the wardrobe's interior.
Number of Drawers: 3
The inclusion of three drawers provides dedicated space for smaller clothing items like socks, underwear, or accessories. Drawers keep these small pieces organized and protected from dust. You benefit from vertical stacking that saves shelf space. This feature distinguishes the unit from simple armoires that rely solely on hanging rods. It supports a more comprehensive organization system for your daily wardrobe.
Mirror: large mirror
A large mirror is integrated into the design, allowing you to check your outfit without moving to another room. This feature adds functionality for getting ready in the morning. It also helps visually expand the room by reflecting light. You save space by combining storage and vanity functions. Ensure the mirror placement aligns with your lighting for the best viewing experience.
Design and Build Quality
According to the listing, the VOWNER 71" Armoire is constructed from engineered wood. This material choice suggests a balance between cost and durability, offering a solid structure that is less prone to warping than some natural woods. The unit weighs 176 pounds, indicating a substantial build that should remain stable during daily use. Its white finish provides a clean, neutral look that fits easily into various bedroom or living room decors. The listing notes it is also available in black, giving you options to match existing furniture.
The layout is defined by its 71-inch height and 47.3-inch width, with a depth of 18.9 inches. This footprint allows it to fit against standard walls without obstructing walkways. Inside, you get one hanging rod and three roomy drawers for organized storage. The design also includes three open shelves, which are ideal for displaying bags, caps, or daily essentials within easy reach. A large mirror is included on the exterior, serving both functional and aesthetic purposes by allowing you to check your appearance without opening the cabinet.
Safety and ease of use are addressed through specific hardware choices. The cabinet doors utilize cushioned hinges, which reduce noise and prevent slamming, extending the lifespan of the doors. An anti-tip device is included to secure the tall unit to the wall, preventing accidents in homes with children or pets. The listing emphasizes that labeled boards and screws are provided, making assembly straightforward. This design prioritizes practical storage solutions and safety features for long-term home use.

You will be handling a unit that weighs 176 pounds, so you may need assistance or proper tools to move and position it safely in your room.
Once assembled, the armoire offers a large mirror for full-body viewing, complemented by crystal knobs that add a decorative touch. The storage layout includes one hanging rod for clothes, three roomy drawers for smaller items, and three open shelves. These shelves provide accessible space for bags, caps, or daily essentials that you need quick access to.
The cabinet doors feature cushioned hinges, which are designed to reduce noise and impact during closing, helping to protect the structure over long-term use. An anti-tip device is included to prevent accidents, a safety feature you should install according to the manual. This wardrobe fits standard bedroom layouts with its 47.3-inch width and 18.9-inch depth. It is versatile enough for use in living rooms, offices, or garages. The white finish works with various decor styles, and the engineered wood construction aims to provide durability without excessive weight. You can organize your space efficiently using the combination of hanging, drawer, and open storage options provided by this unit.
Before You Buy This Armoire
Before adding this VOWNER armoire to your routine, check your wall space. The 18.9-inch depth requires clearance for door swing. You must mount the included anti-tip device to prevent accidents, as the unit is tall and top-heavy. This step is non-negotiable for safety. The white engineered wood surface needs gentle cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals that might damage the finish or the large mirror. You should also verify your floor type. The 176-pound weight demands a stable surface to prevent shifting or damage. Consider if this single unit meets your storage needs. If you need more capacity, note that variations exist for two-item sets. This piece fits well in bedrooms or living rooms but may feel small in large walk-in closets. It suits those prioritizing vertical storage and mirror access over extensive drawer space. Ensure your room layout accommodates the 71-inch height without obstruction.
Check before you buy
- Verify wall space for 18.9-inch depth and door swing.
- Confirm floor stability for the 176-pound weight.
- Plan for mounting the anti-tip safety device.
