Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this armoire if you need high-capacity storage in a single unit. The six doors and three drawers suit households with significant clothing volumes. The white engineered wood finish fits modern or minimalist bedrooms. The included mirror is useful for quick outfit checks. The anti-tip device makes it safe for homes with children. If you have a wide wall space, the 63-inch width provides a cohesive look. It also works well in offices or laundry rooms for secure storage needs.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you have narrow spaces. The 63-inch width requires a wide wall. The 18.9-inch depth may not fit in very tight rooms. You might also look elsewhere if you prefer solid wood. This unit uses engineered wood. If you need a smaller footprint, the 71-inch height and wide base are too large. Those seeking a compact nightstand-style cabinet will find this armoire too bulky for their layout constraints.
Verdict: This armoire is a practical choice for those needing maximum storage in a single, sturdy unit. It fits well in spacious rooms where its width and height are not constraints.
Key specs for VOWNER 71
Mirror
The listing includes a built-in mirror. You can use this for a full-body check without needing a separate standing mirror. This saves floor space in smaller bedrooms. It adds a decorative touch to the white finish. Check that the mirror size meets your needs for daily grooming routines.
Material: Engineered wood
The cabinet is constructed from engineered wood. This material offers a stable structure that resists warping better than solid wood in some conditions. It provides a smooth surface for the white finish. Engineered wood is generally lighter than solid hardwood but still durable for daily storage use.
Number of Doors: 6
You get six separate doors for access. This allows you to divide your clothing into distinct sections. You can keep different types of garments separate for better organization. Six doors mean more hardware but also more flexibility in how you arrange your closet space compared to fewer-door models.
Number of Drawers: 3
There are three large drawers included in the unit. These are ideal for storing folded items like sweaters, pants, or undergarments. Drawers keep these items dust-free and visible. This feature reduces the need for additional storage bins or chests elsewhere in your room.
Overall Dimensions: 71"H x 63"W x 18.9"D
The unit stands 71 inches high and spans 63 inches wide. The depth is 18.9 inches, which fits standard hanger lengths. Ensure your room has this footprint for clearance. The height allows for tall items but may require ceiling clearance. Measure your space carefully before purchase to ensure a proper fit.
Design and build details
The VOWNER 71 armoire is constructed from engineered wood. This material choice suggests a solid, uniform structure that resists warping better than some natural woods. The listing notes it is built to last, which implies durability for daily use. The overall weight is 234 pounds. This mass helps keep the unit stable, especially when fully loaded with clothing and accessories. You should ensure your floor can support this load. The unit includes an anti-tip device. This safety feature is crucial for tall furniture, preventing accidental tipping if drawers are opened while the unit is unbalanced.
The exterior features a white finish. This color reflects light, making the space feel larger. The listing indicates two color options: white and black. You can choose based on your existing decor. The unit has six doors. These doors use cushioned hinges. This mechanism reduces noise and impact when closing, protecting both the wood and your fingers. Three large drawers provide additional storage. This layout allows you to separate items by type. The included mirror adds functionality. It serves as a full-length view without needing extra floor space. The crystal knobs add a decorative touch. They are easy to grip for opening doors and drawers. The design is versatile. It fits bedrooms, living rooms, or offices. The dimensions are 71 inches high, 63 inches wide, and 18.9 inches deep. This footprint requires a significant wall space. Setup and everyday use details
Setting up this wardrobe requires patience and careful attention to the provided instructions. The listing emphasizes labeled boards and screws, which simplifies the assembly process. You will handle heavy components, as the unit weighs 234 pounds. This weight contributes to stability but makes moving the piece difficult once assembled. The anti-tip device is a critical safety feature. You must install it according to the manual to prevent the tall structure from tipping forward. This is especially important if you have children or pets who might climb on the drawers or hang from the open doors.
Daily use revolves around the six doors and three large drawers. The cushioned hinges ensure that the doors close quietly and without slamming. This mechanism protects both the finish and the internal contents from sudden impacts. The large mirror allows for full-body viewing without needing additional furniture. This integrated feature saves floor space in smaller bedrooms. The white finish offers a neutral look that fits various decor styles. You can store dresses, suits, and pants on the free hanging rod. The drawers provide organized storage for smaller items. The depth of 18.9 inches is sufficient for standard clothing hangers. This armoire works well in bedrooms, living rooms, or offices. Its versatile design allows it to serve as a file storage cabinet or general storage solution. The engineered wood construction suggests durability for long-term daily use.
Before you buy this armoire
You should verify your room layout before purchasing. The unit requires a footprint of 63 inches wide and 18.9 inches deep. Ensure you have clear floor space for the doors to open fully. The 71-inch height fits most standard ceilings, but check for crown molding. You may need a separate rug or mat to protect the floor during assembly, as the unit weighs 234 pounds. Engineered wood surfaces require gentle cleaning with a dry cloth to avoid moisture damage. Avoid harsh chemicals. This model suits those needing high capacity with six doors and three drawers. It competes with other large wardrobes by offering integrated mirror storage. If you prefer minimalist designs without mirrors, skip this option. The white finish matches modern decor but may show scuffs. Consider the anti-tip device installation for safety with children. This piece is ideal for bedrooms or offices where secure, ample storage is priority.
