Key specs explained for LCAOPC 71

Material: metal

The wardrobe is constructed from durable metal with an environmental powder coating. This material choice offers scratch and rust resistance, ensuring longevity in various bedroom environments. Unlike wood, metal does not warp with humidity changes. It provides a sturdy frame that supports significant weight without sagging, making it a reliable long-term storage solution for your clothing and accessories.

Overall Dimensions: 71" x 31.5" x 17.7"

These measurements define the footprint and height of the unit. At 71 inches tall, it utilizes vertical space efficiently, ideal for rooms with limited floor area. The 31.5-inch width and 17.7-inch depth ensure it fits comfortably in most bedrooms without obstructing walkways. You should measure your available space carefully to ensure this profile aligns with your room layout and door clearance needs.

Shelves: 1 adjustable shelf

The interior includes one shelf that can be repositioned to suit your storage needs. This adjustability allows you to customize the vertical space for folded items, bags, or larger boxes. It provides flexibility in organizing your wardrobe contents, letting you accommodate seasonal changes or varying item sizes without requiring additional external storage furniture or compromising the overall aesthetic of your bedroom.

Number of Drawers: 1

This unit features a single spacious drawer located at the bottom. It is designed for storing smaller items like underwear, socks, or accessories. The smooth glide system ensures easy access and closing. This single drawer adds convenient concealed storage, keeping clutter out of sight while maintaining the clean lines of the metal wardrobe design. It complements the hanging rod and shelf for comprehensive organization.

Design and Build Quality

According to the listing, the LCAOPC 71 is built from metal with an environmental powder coating. This finish provides scratch and rust resistance, making it suitable for humid environments where wood might warp. The unit weighs 78 pounds, indicating a solid, stable structure that resists tipping when loaded with heavier winter coats. Its overall dimensions are 71 inches high, 31.5 inches wide, and 17.7 inches deep. This footprint fits well in standard bedrooms without overwhelming the floor space.

The design features a rustic farmhouse aesthetic with golden handles for easy access. Two doors secure the interior, utilizing magnets to ensure a tight closure. Inside, you get one hanging rod and one adjustable shelf for customizable storage. A spacious drawer at the bottom handles smaller items like socks or underwear. The smooth glide system is noted for hassle-free operation. Additionally, the base includes adjustable non-slip feet to adapt to uneven floors, ensuring stability on various surfaces. An anti-tipping device at the back adds a layer of safety for households with children or pets. This combination of durable materials and thoughtful layout supports long-term use in daily bedroom routines.

Setup and Daily Use Guide

The LCAOPC 71 requires assembly before you can use it. The listing does not specify the exact number of parts or tools needed, but you should expect to handle the 78-pound metal frame. The unit includes adjustable non-slip feet, which allow you to level the wardrobe on uneven floors. This feature is practical for rooms with slight imperfections in the flooring. You will attach the two doors using the provided golden handles. The doors close via magnets, ensuring they stay shut tightly without needing a latch or lock. Inside, you have one hanging rod and one adjustable shelf. This configuration lets you customize the vertical space based on your clothing length. The shelf sits above a spacious drawer at the bottom. This drawer uses a smooth glide system, making it easy to access smaller items like underwear or socks without disturbing the hanging clothes above. The metal construction is scratch and rust-resistant, so you do not need special cleaning products. A standard damp cloth is sufficient for maintenance. The wardrobe also includes an anti-tipping device at the back. You should install this safety feature to prevent the tall unit from falling forward, especially if you have children or pets in the bedroom. The overall footprint is 31.5 inches wide and 17.7 inches deep. This size fits well in standard bedrooms without overwhelming the space. The white finish blends with most decor styles, including the rustic farmhouse aesthetic mentioned in the description. You can place it against a wall or in a corner, provided you leave enough room to open the doors fully.

Before You Buy This Metal Armoire

This metal armoire fits well in bedrooms where you need durable, rust-resistant storage. It weighs 78 pounds, so you should ensure your floor can support the load. The unit includes adjustable non-slip feet to handle uneven surfaces, but you must level it yourself during assembly. Since it is a standalone piece, you do not need to attach it to wall studs, though the anti-tipping device is included for added safety. You will need to clean the powder-coated surface with a damp cloth to maintain its scratch-resistant finish. This model offers one adjustable shelf and one drawer, which differs from other options that may have more shelves or no drawers. Check if the 31.5-inch width fits your space. The hanging rod is single-tier, so it suits lighter clothing better than bulkier winter coats. Consider this if you prefer metal over wood for its humidity resistance. It is a practical choice for organized, vertical storage in smaller rooms.

Check before you buy

• Verify your floor can support 78 pounds of metal weight.
• Measure your room to ensure the 31.5-inch width fits comfortably.
• Check if one hanging rod meets your clothing volume needs.
• Confirm the single drawer size suits your small item storage.
