Who it fits
Good fit for
This hall tree suits busy households needing multi-functional storage. The 300 lb bench capacity helps users change shoes comfortably. The seven hooks accommodate winter coats and hats without creasing. Adjustable shelves fit everything from slippers to tall boots. The privacy drawer keeps small items out of sight. If you want a single unit for hanging, seating, and shoe storage, this design fits your needs. The rustic white and brown finish blends with many home styles. It is ideal for entryways where space efficiency matters.
Who should skip it
Look elsewhere if you need a narrow footprint. The 13.8-inch length requires some wall space. You might prefer more hanging space if you have a large coat collection, as there are only seven hooks. The single drawer offers limited concealed storage compared to units with multiple compartments. If you dislike built-in lighting, the LED feature may not appeal to you. Buyers wanting a completely different aesthetic, like all-black or metallic finishes, will not find those options here. Consider other models if you need more modular customization.
Verdict: The HAUOMS HYX01 is a practical, space-saving entryway solution for families. Its sturdy bench and ample hanging space make daily routines easier.
Key specs explained for HAUOMS
300 lb capacity
The bench seat supports up to 300 pounds. This weight limit allows multiple people to sit simultaneously for changing shoes. It also permits you to place heavy items like large backpacks or laundry baskets on the surface without risk of collapse. You should verify this limit if you plan to use the bench as a primary seating area for adults. This capacity ensures stability for daily family use in busy entryways.
73 inches height
The unit stands 73 inches tall. This height provides ample vertical space for hanging long winter coats, trench coats, and dresses without them touching the floor. It also accommodates hats and scarves comfortably. When comparing closet systems, ensure your ceiling height allows for this clearance. The tall design maximizes storage volume in small footprints, making it suitable for narrow hallways where vertical space is available.
7 hooks
The coat rack includes seven individual hooks. This number allows each family member to have dedicated hanging space for daily wear. You can hang jackets, bags, and leashes simultaneously. More hooks mean less clutter and tangle. When shopping for entryway organizers, count the hooks to match your household size. Seven hooks offer a balanced solution for small to medium-sized families without overwhelming the entryway wall.
13.8 inches length
The unit is 13.8 inches deep. This narrow footprint fits into tight spaces like narrow hallways or small apartment entries. It does not protrude significantly into the room, preserving walking space. You should measure your entryway width to ensure this depth works with your layout. This compact length is ideal for maximizing storage in constrained areas where wider furniture would block movement or door swings.

Anti-tip hardware is included to secure the unit to the wall. This mounting requirement is essential for stability. The design includes a big privacy drawer and open shelves for keys or decor. Before You Buy This Unit
This HAUOMS model fits best in spacious entryways. Its footprint measures 13.8 inches deep by 43.3 inches wide. You must verify your hallway width allows for this depth. The unit stands 73 inches tall. Ensure your ceiling height accommodates this vertical space without obstruction. The bench supports 300 pounds. Check that your floor can handle this concentrated load. You will need to clean the rustic wood and white finish regularly. Dust accumulates in the open shelves and drawer seams. Use a soft, dry cloth for routine maintenance. Avoid harsh chemicals that might damage the finish. This piece serves as a central hub for daily gear. It complements other closet systems by handling outerwear and shoes separately. If you already have a dedicated coat closet, this unit may be redundant. However, if you lack primary storage, it consolidates multiple functions. The built-in LED light adds ambiance but requires a power source. Confirm an outlet is nearby for the lighting feature. The seven hooks provide ample hanging space for most users.
